Freienbach,April12th2022 – Swiss E-Mobility Group AG (SEMG), a CONSTELLATION V fund portfolio company, has acquired Alexand’Ro Edouard’O Passion Vélo Sàrl (Passion Vélo). Starting April 12st 2022, Passion Vélo will complement the SEMG’s branch network.

As part of a share deal transaction, the previous owners have decided to sell Passion Vélo to SEMG. Passion Vélo was founded in 2009 and became one of the largest bicycle retailers in the canton of Neuchâtel.

The two founders of Passion Vélo, Alexandre Rognon and Edouard Ryser, will continue to support operations to ensure seamless integration of Passion Vélo into SEMG. Passion Vélo will continue to operate under its own brand. The first integration fforts will be focused on back-end business processes, including ERP and IT systems, as well as logistic and procurement processes. The incorporation of Passion Vélo into the SEMG results in a win-win situation for both parties. While Passion Vélo will profit from SEMG’s digitalisation, systems, and extensive product portfolio, SEMG gains expert sales power and a strong local brand known throughout the region.

Passion Vélo´s acquisition perfectly fits SEMG’s growth strategy to strengthen its position as the leading e-bike retailer in Western Switzerland. SEMG´s branch network further grows in the French-speaking regions of Switzerland.
